The Queen’s Printer announced today that it will be discontinuing its online BC legislation subscription service, QP Legaleze. While the government promises to eventually make the content available on the government websites, those subscribers who require a more robust BC legislation service may want to consider turning to Quickscribe Online as a viable alternative.
Quickscribe Online is now used by virtually every major law firm in BC and offers subscribers unique features such as historical legislative research tools, PDF print functions, customizable tools for tracking legislative changes and access to legislation that is typically updated weeks before any other source.
Quickscribe will also soon be launching a new version (Quickscribe 2.0) which will include a unique annotation and collaboration tool that will facilitate legislation discussion within a law firm. A searchable collection of dynamic and current annotated statutes and regulations is also included.
Quickscribe has offered to provide free access to its service for all current QP Legaleze subscribers through to the end of 2014. Some restrictions apply.
